Balvenie 25 Year Old Rare Marriages
A magnificent release from Balvenie's Rare Marriages series, matured in European and American oak casks which were transferred and married in a tun for a flawless finish. This 25-year-old single malt is effortlessly elegant, offering aromas of soft autumn fruits, honey and crystalised ginger notes, followed by toasted marshmallows, fresh fruit and cinnamon on the palate.

An Oa (meaning rounded in Gaelic, named after the Oh peninsula on Islay) was aged in a combination of casks including Pedro Ximénez sherry casks, ex-bourbon, and charred virgin oak casks followed by a marriage in French oak in the 'Gathering Room'. Ardbeg introduced this expression into its core range in mid-2017.

Ch. Margaux is arguably the most consistent high performer in all of Bordeaux over the past ten years...
In 2020 this iconic property is one of only three wines to be given the elusive potential perfect score from wine Critic Neal Martin... Considering the general developed of the 2020's during elevage and again in bottle, I would not at all be surprised if this wine was to achieve a perfect score outright and if it does there will no doubt be positive secondary market price activity. "Will it achieve perfection? We'll find out soon(ish)."

Old Pulteney 18 Year Old
The oldest in Old Pulteney’s 2018 revamped core range, the 18 Year Old is matured in second-fill American Oak casks, and then Spanish oak ex-Oloroso sherry, much like its younger sibling. It’s bottled at 46% ABV.

Lemon zest, toffee apples – and a scent of coconut. Hand-selected sherry casks help create this paradise of flavours and rich, golden colour. It’s the taste of Scotland’s slowest distillation, and insistence on barley dried by air – never peat.

2014 Nicolas Potel, Nuits-Saint-Georges, Rouge
The slightly cooler 2014 is proving to be a very elegant vintage with terroir definition. This shows up in the style of Nicolas Potel's Nuits Saint Georges, which is beginning to show a little expanse, though still a relatively youthful Pinot Noir. You can go ahead and drink now, or keep it another year or two and you will have a rounder example with a more teriary profile.

Benriach The Twenty Five
This superlative single malt from the Benriach Distillery has been aged in not one, not two, not three, but four different cask types: bourbon, sherry, virgin oak, and Madeira wine casks. The Twenty Five offers layers of smoked apricot, dark cherry chocolate, and hazelnut toffee, complemented with notes of baked fruit, oak spice, and cinnamon.
70cl ⋅ 46.00%£1,240.00 / Case£1,033.33 excl. VAT / Case Benriach The Thirty
Aged for an extensive 30 years, Benriach The Thirty has been matured in a combination of sherry, bourbon, Port, and virgin oak casks. The result of such an extensive maturation in these casks has lent layers of dark fruits, rich walnut, honeyed smoke, and stewed plum. Another superb release from master blender Rachel Barrie.

2012 Dom Perignon
VM97RP96JR18.5+
A vintage of both freshness and density, the nose is so welcoming with DP’s hallmark smoky charm, deeply fruity. The wine’s most unique feature is the scintillating or tingling sensation that takes over and energises the rich, round and compact palate.
The 2012 weather has been hallmarked by many as very challenging but has created some stunning Champagne. Relatively low yields due to various weather conditions throughout the year. The winter months brought some frosts and hail which damaged the early stages of bud burst. August and September were very warm and this helped rescue and give the grapes a stunning maturity. From delicate, fresh chardonnays to firm and fruity pinot noir and elegant meunier, this is a wonderful vintage champagne that will age exceptionally well.

The opening bouquet is complex and luminous, a mingling of white flowers, citrus and stone fruit. enhanced by nuances of aniseed and crushed mint. The fruit is pronounced and clear. The vintage's characteristic acidity is remarkably well integrated.. The final aromas offered by the wine are starting to show spicy, woody and roasted notes.
