Admiral Rodney HMS Formidable Rum
At the close of the 18th century, through the leadership of Admiral Rodney, the British secured a key victory over the French in the Caribbean during the Battle of the Saints, resulting in a period of uncontested rule by the British in the region. HMS formidable is named after Admiral Rodney's flagship during this important encounter, and carries the oldest blend out of the three expressions in the Admiral Rodney range. A blend of rums aged between nine and 12 years in ex-bourbon casks, all produced on the island of St. Lucia. Soft wafts of spice and vanilla throughout this sumptuous blend, with a delicious dash of raisins.
