Ardbeg 25 Year Old
Ardbeg have selected some of their rarest ex-bourbon casks for this 25-year-old release. Filled during the darker days of the distillery's past during the 1990s, this whisky has been aged for a quarter of a century, resulting in a pungent burst of smoked cream, fennel and tropical fruit followed by candied apple, pear and a lingering finish of fudge, peat smoke and aniseed.

Ardbeg haven't cut any corners with their packaging here either; the decorative stopper and collar feature detailed debossing and the box is opened via a push/release mechanism, which is wrapped in a textured fabric secured by a metal cage - symbolic of  the caged, untamed whisky within. The bottle has an opaque silver coating with a stylish matte finish.

Bowmore 27 Year Old – Timeless Series
Introducing the 27-year-old Timeless expression. For 15 years, Bowmore spirit lay in a mix of Oloroso sherry butts and bourbon barrels, absorbing spice and sweetness from sherry-infused European oak and the subtle tropical flavours of American oak and bourbon. After this initial maturation, the contents were transferred to first-fill Oloroso butts and left to mature for a further 12 years, emphasising the rich cask influence in the well-aged spirit.

To honour this masterful release, the Timeless includes a three-minute hourglass. Pour the whisky into worthy glassware, turn the timer, and patiently nose the contents. Observe the decades as they peel away: the plums, sultanas, toffee and smoked seaweed. When the time is up, sip and indulge in the chestnut honey, Cuban cigar tobacco and roasted coffee.

Bowmore 30 Year Old (2020 Release)
