Tasting Notes
Vinous 93+
Good medium red. Complex aromas of currant, roasted plum, cedar, leather, game and pepper. Lush and silky in the mouth, with superb intensity of flavor. Impeccable balance and richness gives this wine considerable early appeal, but it should age slowly and gracefully. Aeration brings even more intensity of flavor. Finishes very long, with dusty, ripe tannins. Certainly the greatest young reserva I’ve yet tasted from this superb producer-and an absolute steal at the price.
