2008 Lanson, Gold Label Brut Vintage, Champagne

Lanson, established in 1760 and still family-owned, stands as one of the oldest Champagne houses.
2008 is now acknowledged as an exceptional vintage, and this particular blend, consisting of 53% pinot noir and 47% chardonnay, all harvested from grand cru vineyards, exemplifies this. Despite a decade of aging, the wine reveals a lavish yet youthful bouquet of green apple and citrus aromas, indicating its enduring potential. With a vibrant acidity complemented by toasty richness, this impressive vintage truly highlights the excellence of the year.
