Château L’Évangile, located in the Pomerol appellation of Bordeaux, has a history dating back to the 18th century. The estate spans 22 hectares of gravelly, clay-rich soils, ideal for growing Merlot, the dominant grape variety, with a small percentage of Cabernet Franc adding structure. Known for producing wines with power, richness, and balance, Château L’Évangile has become one of Pomerol’s most respected estates, producing wines that reflect the unique terroir of the region.
Under the ownership of the Rothschild family since 1990, Château L’Évangile has undergone significant investments in both the vineyard and the winery.
