Producer Profile
Tenuta Cucco
Tenuta Cucco began in the 1960s, where it was named ‘cucco’ after the hillside location where the oldest part of the vineyard sits. Their sits are part of some of the oldest territory in Piedmont, also benefitting from an ideal altitiude of 420 metres above sea level which ensures ideal ripening for the grapes.
The crus of Tenuta Cucco, Cerrati and Bricco Voghera, are both located along the eastern slope of the Serralunga d’Alba. They each have different orientations and soil types. They are capable of producing consistent, high quality wines which each express the characteristics of the land.
They farm their land under organic practices, with biodynamic principles. This demonstrates their commitment to nature and the environment.
