Clos de Lom
Founded in 1836, Clos de Lom is a family-run estate based in Valencia, Spain. In 1950, they expanded the estate, continuing the tradition, but increasing their portfolio and production. Today the fourth generation are at the helm, and they are committed to producing expressive, terroir-driven wines.
Their vineyards sit at around 600 metres above sea level, roughly 55km from the Mediterranean. This has a cooling impact on the otherwise hot region. The cooling breezes and lower night-time temperatures helps gives the wines a remarkable freshness and elegance
The estate is comprised of 55 crus, each with its own identity, resulting in unique, nuanced wines. Over the years, the family has built up an incredible knowledge of these sites, with every hillside, every terrace, and every aspect offering its own distinctive style of wine.
