Tasting Notes

The 2020 Chantegrive Blanc has a light, slightly earthy bouquet with apple peelings and Anjou pear scents. The palate is lively and fresh on the entry, a pleasant creaminess developing in the glass with a seductive white peach and pear infused finish. This punches above my expectations.

The 2020 Chantegrive Blanc is a very pretty wine, a bit richer than often is, but that works just fine. Tangerine oil, mint, passionfruit and lime are nicely delineated throughout. A pretty exotic flourish on the finish adds character. This is beautifully done.

Acacia blossom and a very light nuttiness on the nose. A gentle wine with lovely balance of fruit and flowers, acidity, herbaceousness and savouriness. Dancing in a breezy way. There is an unpretentious just-right-ness about this! (TC)
