Caol Ila 32 Year Old 1990 – The Kinship (Hunter Laing)

The fourth entry in the 2022 release of Hunter Laing's The Kinship series. Bottled to celebrate Feis Ile 2022, this expression of 32 year old Caol Ila was distilled in 1990. The nose is a fascinating array of peat smoke, oak and pastry dough, with hints of clove and green olives. A viscous and earthy palate gives way to notes of marmalade and nuts, with a lingering smoke on the finish. Bottled at a cask strength of 48.1% ABV, this is one of only 223 bottles.
