Chichibu On the Way – Bottled 2024

A 2025 limited edition bottling from Japan's Chichibu Distillery. This limited bottling was crafted solely from traditionally floor-malted barley, a practice rarely applied in modern times due to its labour-intensive nature. The "On The Way" expression is a snapshot of the distillery's journey as they work towards a continually available 10-year-old malt, making it both a delectable offering as well as one of particular intrigue to collectors. Stone fruits and vanilla meet creamy biscuit characters and fresh orchard fruit.
