Compass Box Ultramarine – The Extinct Blender Quartet

Part of the Extinct Blender Quartet series from creative blender, Compass Box. The Ultramarine is a reimagining of a blend that first made an appearance in the late 1980s. A complex blend of malt and grain whiskies from all across Scotland, which the blender has described to have notes of toffee, antique polished oak and complex peatiness on the nose, with a palate of roasted pecan, raisins and smoke.
