Foursquare Rum Distillery
Situated on an old Barbadian sugar plantation that can be dated back to 1720, the Foursquare distillery is one of the most iconic of the Caribbean distilleries, producing quality rums that have resonated with both drinkers and collectors in a way that few other rum distilleries have achieved.
The distillery was re-opened by the Seale family in 1996, a family whose roots in the industry may be traced back to the early 1800s. The distillery offers a number of award-winning core releases, including notable age-statement expressions that are seldom seen in the Caribbean.
Beyond this, Foursquare is well known for its Exceptional Cask Series and Private Cask Selection bottlings; these limited one-off releases are some of the most highly-sought after expressions from the distillery, showcasing unique vattings and ages that are meticulously crafted by Master Distillery Richard Seale. These special releases and their indefatigable pursuit of quality over quantity have pushed the distillery to the forefront of distilleries favored by enthusiasts.
