Singleton Of Glen Ord 15 Year Old – Special Release 2022

Diageo’s legend of The Enchantress of the Ruby Solstice weaves a tale of a beguiling siren whose diamond-bright gaze was enough to turn the River Ord into red wine. To celebrate this tale, Diageo have released this 15-year-old single malt from the only single malt distillery on the Black Isle, Glen Ord. Matured initially in American oak and European oak casks, before an 8-year finishing period in red wine casks, giving a nose of plums, raspberry jelly, sour cherries, and ginger root. Once satisfied with the nose, the dynamic palate delivers ginger spice, scones with cream and blackberry jam, and a final crackle of pepper and tannins on the finish. Bottled at 54.2% ABV.
