Invergordon 31 Year Old 1988 – Sovereign (Hunter Laing)
One of the few grain distilleries in the Highlands (most dwell in the Lowlands of Scotland), Invergordon is famous for supplying the grain element to the Whyte & Mackay blends. This is a well-aged single cask release from Hunter Laing and part of "The Sovereign" series, a series focusing on excellent single grain whiskies. Matured for 31 years in a refill hogshead with only 399 bottles released, all bottled at natural cask strength, colour and non-chill filtered.
