2020 Monte Santoccio, Valpolicella, Classico Superiore
Monte Santoccio is located in Fumane, in the heart of the Valpolicella Classic area, where grapes are grown to produce outstanding wine.
The traditional grapes varieties used in this wine are Corvina 40% Corvinone 30%, Rondinella 20%, Molinara 10%.
Clean, intense and fresh with aromas of plum and cherries with a touch of balsamic and green pepper. The fruitiness is nicely tempered with the right amount of acidity and very smooth tannins .

2020 Montresor, Amarone della Valpolicella, Colombaia
Made from a blend of Corvina (70%), Rondinella (20%) and Molinara (10%) grapes. The grapes are hand harvested at the end of October. The late harvested grapes are dried for four months and then crushed. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel for four months followed by maturation in Slavonian oak casks and small barrels for 2 years. 

Aromas are so appealing, with ripe black cherry and dark fruits, followed by toasted bread, roasted coffee beans and hint of dried fruit like currant.

This is a wine full of life and energy with plenty of ripe fruit, supple tannins and an elegant acidity. The finish is balanced with juicy fruit character of good Amarone Excellent with game and mature beef

GRAPES: 85% garganega – 15% Trebbiano di Soave
VINES AGE: from 6 to 60 years
SOIL: Limestone or volcanic, from 100 to 300 m above sea level.
Free run juice is fermented at low temperatures (between 14-18°C) in glass-lined cement tanks and matured for several months on the fine lees.A wonderful balance of fresh fruit and acidity with floral and almond aromas. Great with seafood!
