Port Ellen 23 Year Old 1978 – Old Malt Cask (Douglas Laing) (Italian Import)
An independently bottled expression of highly collectible Port Ellen whisky, a famous Islay malt distillery that closed in 1983. This 23-year-old single cask release was finished for six months in a sherry cask before being bottled in 2001. A release of only 764 bottles and bottled at the traditional Old Malt Cask strength of 50% ABV.

Port Ellen 24 Year Old 1978 – Port Wood Finish Edition 1 (Signatory)
A rare single cask Port Ellen finished in Port wood and released by the "Signatory" independent bottler. Edition 1 is presented in an Ibisco decanter and bottled at 24 years old on 16th September 2002 from a 5th September 1978 distillation and only 804 bottles were released at natural cask strength of 58% abv.

Talisker 41 Year Old 1978 Bodega Series 2
This exceptional 41-year-old whisky from Talisker has been treated to a finish in Manzanilla casks from Delgado Zuleta - one of the greats in Cádiz, Spain. The whisky was initially distilled in 1978 before it was left to age in refill American oak for a number of years. Then, after an incredible 41 years of maturation this impressive single malt was bottled for the distillery's Bodega Series. A limited number of 2,000 bottles were produced.

One of the closed distilerry releases from Diageo's 2014 Special releases. Brora is greatly sought after and very hard to come by. Brought to you for the 2014 Special Releases, an official bottling of Brora matured for a long period of 35 years in first-fill American and European oak casks! The whisky was then bottled at 48.6% abv. Only 2,964 bottles were filled and released.

One of the oldest ever Brora single malts released, marking the 200th anniversary of this silent distillery's original opening. A vatting of just 12 American oak hogsheads containing liquid that was initially distilled back in 1978 during a period of peated production. This 40 year old bottling is also the first official release since being dropped from the annual Diageo Special Releases. Only 1,819 bottles are available worldwide.

Tomatin 1978 Warehouse 6 Collection
A decadent 1978 vintage single malt from Tomatin, released as part of its Warehouse 6 Collection. After an extensive maturation, the whisky was transferred into first-fill Spanish Oloroso casks to finish for a further 10 years before being bottled. Only 350 decanters were produced,  housed in an impressive presentation case alongside two glasses and a stopper.
