Arran Machrie Moor 10 Year Old
A peated expression from the Lochranza distillery, mostly known for their "Arran" whisky. Produced in much smaller quantities than its non-peated counterpart, this 10 year old expression of Machrie Moor is entirely matured in first fill bourbon casks, giving big splashes of tropical and baked orchard fruits to the pronounced peat smoke. The name Machrie Moor comes from the peat bog of the same name on the island. Bottled without chill-filtration or added colouring.

Torabhaig Cnoc Na Moine – The Legacy Series
The release of the Cnoc Na Moine marks a pivotal moment in Torabhaig's journey, the first official whisky from the distillery to include sherry casks in the maturation. For the whisky geeks out there (we mean that endearingly - we're geeks too!), the whisky was distilled from a barley mash peated to a hefty 78.44ppm, with the distillery offering a level of transparency rarely seen in the industry, stating that the resulting spirit retained a residual 19.7ppm of phenols post-distillation. The whisky was matured in a mix of ex-bourbon and American oak Oloroso and Pedro Ximénez sherry casks, then unified for this limited release.

On the nose, you'll find the typical peat smoke of Torabhaig whisky, but with extra helpings of citrus and tangy fruit before creamy vanilla and freshly sawn oak. The palate reveals brine, balsamic and BBQ, with leather and sherry spice offering extra depth that lasts long into the finish.
