Cameronbridge 26 Year Old – Special Release 2022
In Diageo’s legend of The Golden Knight’s Tale, we see a celebrating knight winning his crown through a 26-year-long battle. As he triumphantly marched through the River Ore, his flag dissolved into the gentle flow, transforming the water into sweet, silken gold.

For 26 years this single grain expression has slumbered in refill American oak casks, allowing the creamy dessert flavours of the spirit to come front and centre in the end result. The nose is as golden as the knight portrayed on the bottle, beaming with notes of toffee, butter, pain au raisin, crème brûlée, and shortbread. The palate delivers even more than promised by the nose, with notes of pancakes with maple syrup, brown sugar on croissants, and even the lightest hint of flat white coffee, all at a delicious cask strength of 56.2% ABV.

Glasgow 1770 – Peated
Straying from the typical fruit-forward style that the Glasgow distillery typically embrace, for this expression the team have turned their award-winning hands to the production of a peated malt. Peated to a rather high 50ppm using heather-rich peat from the Highlands of Scotland and distilled slowly. The spirit was then matured in a mix of American virgin oak casks and ex-Pedro Ximénez sherry casks. Dark and lush, rich dried fruits ooze through the BBQ smoke permeating from the glass, with toffee and cigar tobacco looming. A sip reaffirms the nose, with the addition of chocolate and earthy herbs.
