Daftmill 2011 Summer Batch Release

The Lowland distillery at the tip of every Scotch enthusiast's tongue, Daftmill. This farm-distillery produces just a tiny yield of spirit each year, distilling in the off-seasons of farming with their excess barley, creating whisky like the days of yore. A combination of 27 ex-bourbon barrel matured whiskies that were filled in 2011 were selected for this small-batch expression. Bottled in September of 2023 after just over 12 years of maturation and brought to a sipping strength of 46% ABV, yielding 6,550 bottles in total.
