Glen Elgin 18 Year Old 1998 – (Special Releases 2017)
Produced from two batches which were vatted together, this Glen Elgin 18 year old caught the attention of many. This Speyside distillery used a combination of Pombe yeast for freshness alongside the traditional cerevisiae yeast which is more commonly used in the whisky industry. An interesting release in the Diageo 2017 Special Releases range.

Glen Elgin 12 Year Old Moscatel Cask Finish (Darkness)
The Darkness range does exactly what it says on the tin: highly cask-influenced whisky with a deep dark hue. This particular bottling is of 12 year old Glen Elgin, matured in a Moscatel sherry octave, a particularly small cask resulting in far higher wood contact with the spirit. Expect buckets of big spicy sweet flavours on this one. Bottled at 55.6% ABV.
