The release of the 12 Year Old was a proud day indeed for the Glenglassaugh distillery, making their first aged core range expression since the reopening of the distillery in 2008. The launch was accompanied by a much-welcomed facelift for the brand, now featuring its own bespoke glass styled to reflect the oceanic character of the spirit. The 12 Year Old is the result of the diligent work of Master Blender Rachel Barrie; a delicate and nuanced vatting of malts matured in bourbon, sherry and red wine casks.
