Buffalo Trace O.F.C. Bourbon 1996
The O.F.C Distillery was originally christened in 1870 by none other than Colonel E.H. Taylor, a true pioneer of bourbon and a pivotal figure in establishing the quality that we find synonymous with the whiskey today. The distillery was state of the art for its time and was eventually acquired by George T. Stagg in 1879, starting a journey which would eventually lead to the modern day Buffalo Trace distillery. This O.F.C Vintage release is a homage to the roots of Buffalo Trace and a vatting of some of their rarest reserves. All of the whiskey in this rare release was sourced from a 1996 distillation, maturing in new charred-American oak barrels for over 25 years before being presented in a hand-cut crystal bottle. A superb expression, close to the apex of what Buffalo Trace have released.

As few as 20 bottles of O.F.C 1996 were imported to the UK so we are delighted to showcase this rare offering at Nickolls & Perks.
