2020 Jeanneret, Cabernet Malbec, Clare Valley
The wines are produced as a celebration of creativity and precision from vineyards that are tended using organic principles.
Very dark in colour with a vibrant crimson edge. There are abundant aromas of blackberry, blueberry, mulberry and raspberry, accompanied by subtle spicy undertones that complement the fruits.
The palate has a juicy texture, with a firm structure provided by the Cabernet, while the Malbec adds voluptuousness.

2020 Jeanneret Rank & File Shiraz
Very darkly and vibrantly coloured, the 2021 Rank & File Shiraz has the most beautiful nose featuring generous quantities of wonderfully intense blackberry and blackcurrant woven together with dark, inviting spice. And there's a creamy character to the fruit on the nose which makes it so, so inviting and, frankly, irresistible. That character continues onto the palate, which together with an absolute ton of ripe, delicious, dark fruit make it utterly delicious. Probably as pleasurable and downright hedonistic as any wine should be. Firm tannins give structure and length and gently remind you that there's a serious side to this pleasure bomb. And amid all this generosity, there's a lovely zesty energy to the fruit too. Lovely to get lost in just on its own but excellent with food; try chargrilled anything or big-flavour something.

2022 Jeanneret, Big Fine Girl Riesling, Clare Valley
Jeanneret Wines was established in 1992 by the Jeanneret family, whose passion for making wines organically purely for fun led them into the winemaking business: in 1994, the Jeanneret cellar door in the Clare Valley opened.

Today Jeanneret is headed up by self-taught winemakers, Ben Jeanneret & Harry Dickinson. Both are very talented winemakers and their passion and winemaking craft really comes through in the wines.

The vineyard is located in Clare Valley across 2 sites called Sevenhill and Watervale. The average altitude is around 430 to 510 metres above sea level.
After the harvest the grapes are fermented in stainless-steel vats. The wine spends 221 days aged on their lees to give it a creamy texture.
This is definitely a proper dry Riesling as the sugar content is only 0.7gr per litre. On the palate the acidity is vibrant and the citrussy, green apple character of the grapes is respected.
