2019 Alter Ego de Palmer Margaux
VM94JR17+
Producer notes: “The Merlots give rise to wines full of power, exuberance, and body. The Cabernets developed a certain coolness and reserve, leading to wines of rare distinction. It is this uncommon coupling that has seen 2019 enter the exclusive club of truly exceptional vintages”.

Blend: Merlot 51%, Cabernet sauvignon 40%, Petit Verdot 9%

2019 Barolo Agricola Marrone Piedmont
100% Nebbiolo from vines with an average age of 35-40 years, growing at 300 – 350m above sea level.
Aromas are deeply earthy, combine with mushrooms, cherry and truffle. Flavours entwined with fine tannins, but there are so many of them that they cling to the fruit like a film of fine chalk dust. Tamarind on the finish. Determined but elegant.

2019 Barolo Alasia Piemonte
Araldica's premier Barolo, sourced from carefully chosen vineyards, is a wine that is both approachable and richly flavoured.

The grapes, meticulously hand-harvested, undergo a three-year maturation process in 50hl Slavonian oak casks. Following this, the wine is gently racked from oak and fined, resulting in a fine and expressive style that encapsulates Barolo's classic blend of mature, lightly floral aromas alongside richness and structure.

The wine boasts dark plum, leather, and delicate violet notes, complemented by hints of sweet spice.
This full-bodied red is characterized by its firmness and ripeness, delivering powerful flavours that are well-balanced by ripe tannins, intricate savoury undertones, and a lingering finish. For optimal enjoyment, it is recommended to decant this Barolo and pair it with roasted red meats and game.

2019 Bertrand Ambroise, Cote de Nuits-Villages, Rouge
Deep ruby colour with a light garnet rim. The nose presents expressive and complex aromas.
With aeration, it reveals aromas of dark berries such as ripe blackberries, and blackcurrant, with hints of earthiness, mocha, and dark cocoa.
The palate is dry with an elegant full body. The alcohol and ripe fruit flavours are very well balanced. Evidence of oak ageing is well integrated, giving a touch of light toasted bread. Silky and round texture with good, ripe tannins. The long finish shows lovely acidity with a silky texture.
It is certainly a wine ready to enjoy.

2019 Cambria, Katherines Chardonnay, Santa Maria Valley
The flagship Chardonnay undergoes fermentation in a combination of stainless steel and barrels, ensuring the preservation of its fresh flavours and aromatics while introducing texture and complexity. Sur lie aging for 5.5 months in 20% new oak contributes to its nuanced profile, and the wine is carefully blended and bottled after being racked out of barrels.

Notably, 85% of this exceptional wine comes from vines planted in the 1970s.

Boasting a harmonious and lively character, this wine harmoniously melds citrus and stone fruit notes with subtle hints of vanilla and crème brûlée.
Crafted exclusively from the fog-kissed vines of Katherine’s Vineyard, named after proprietor Katie Jackson in 1986, this elegant, and distinctive wine draws its essence from ancient soils enriched with fossilized seashells, limestone, and sand.

Winemaker's notes:
“Fresh fruit and ¬oral aromas dominate the nose and palate; white peach, lemon zest, pear, granny smith apple and citrus blossoms. The oak in¬fluence creates a nice mid-palate that balances nicely with the bright acidity that lingers.”
– Jill Russell, Winemaker

2019 Casa Lapostolle, Clos Apalta, Colchagua Valley
Tucked away in the Colchagua Valley, near the town of Santa Cruz, the Apalta Valley was the place selected by a visionary in the 1910s who planted this amazing vineyard using a unique French massal selection. In 1994, Alexandra Marnier Lapostolle and her husband Cyril de Bournet acquired this property. Clos Apalta was born in 1997 as the iconic wine of the Domaines Bournet-Lapostolle in Chile under the idea to magnify the exceptional terroir of Apalta with French expertise.
Shaping the vineyard foot by foot, building a state-of-the-art gravity fed winery, the family succeeded in making Clos Apalta one of the most iconic wines in South America. Currently, the team is led by the son of the founders and 7th generation, Charles de Bournet. Many international rewards have consolidated its position in the “Legends of Chile” (2005 TOP#1 Wine spectator Magazine, 2017, 100pts by James Suckling, for the third time).

2019 Catena Zapata, Adrianna Vineyard River Stones Malbec, Mendoza
Catena Zapata winery is one of the quality leading producers in Argentina. They are dynamic and experiment with modern technology without forgetting past traditions.

The name of the wine is taken from a small parcel in the Gualtallary District in Mendoza. The grapes are harvest and selected at the winery. The production is transferred into 225 litre oak barrels and 500 litre French oak roll-fermenters for 17 days. Then the wine is aged for 20 months.
The soil has an abundance of stones which allows good drainage and with these conditions, these Malbec grapes tend to be aromatic, rich, and luxurious with good freshness and balance.

This wine can be enjoyed young or aged for decades.
